Forged Internal Aluminum Heelcup

When it comes to forming aluminum, there’s casting and extruding, but if you really want to make something strong, you use forging. In one of the more complex innovations Fix has ever undertaken, all bindings now feature an internal heelcup skeleton that is overmolded with injected nylon, creating hands-down the strongest heelcup ever produced. This results in direct energy transfer and responsiveness when riding, not to mention unquestionable dependability backed by their Lifetime Warranty Guarantee.

Asymmetrical ergonomic highbacks

The perfect ergonomic design can olny be achieved with individual left and right specific highback designs. Softer on the inside for lateral flex and curved outward like a mellow wing, and stiffer on the outside for support to lock in those presses or keep you from rolling over the handlebars in deeper snow, the Block 7 highback is the ultimate in performance. For the ultimate in high-end performance, the toe ramp footbed responds to your heel and toe movements instantly, leading to quicker and snappier heel-to-toe turns. The trifold clip-in design is the result of 10 years of innovation, providing the ultimate way to access the mounting discs without needing any hardware.

TrueFlex Baseplate

Designed to allow your board to flex the way it was intended, the TrueFlex Baseplate design works in unison with your board by reducing the contact area of the binding, which in turn allows your board to flex and twist. By elevating the edges of the baseplate, it also helps eliminate the dreaded binding-line woodcore breaks when landing jumps.

Antishock urethane dampening 

This isn’t your typical dampening pad. It’s the perfect material with the perfect hardness to grip your board’s topsheet and prevent disco foot. It has an elevated heel cushion to absorb impacts from landings, saving your heels and back while dampening the high-frequency vibrations caused by firmer snow, which lead to fatigue. Our Antishock system will keep you riding longer and happier.

Benchmark buckles

Fix buckles are tested up to 28,000 clicks, which is over triple the strength of the competition; that is why Fix is able to offer an industry first lifetime warranty on their buckles. They’re that good. The cast aluminum buckles are housed in the buckle assembly and are attached with custom designed German steel springs, for superior strength and function.

Ergo ankle straps

Injected TPU for a soft and comfortable feel that stretches over your boot, eliminating pressure points. It is ergonomically designed to provide more support on the outer side of the binding while allowing the inside to flex more freely for lateral motion.

Oriole toe straps

Featured on all Fix bindings, the newly redesigned toe strap will conform to your boot regardless of its shape or how you position it. Made of ultra-lightweight, injected TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) for maximum durability and a pressure-point-free fit.

Deathgrip Hardware

Let’s face it, having to tighten your screw all the time is a hassle. That’s why Fix uses a special type of mounting hardware called DethGrip™️ to ensure that you’re not looking for a screwdriver every time you go riding. Their regrind hardware card uses waste from the production process and doubles as a wax scraper so you can use it for years to come.

PA66 Unpainted first shot nylon

Hands down, the best material for snowboard bindings. Fix uses between 7% and 18% glass fill to stiffen each component, depending on the model and size. Remember, glass fill isn’t about strength as much as it’s about stiffness, so the higher the percentage of glass fill, the stiffer, more responsive, and more aggressive the binding will be.

No Regrind Construction

Let’s be honest, making any product from plastic/nylon is detrimental to the environment; bindings are no exception. But we can make better choices so that the impact is minimized, and create a superior binding in the process. The Fix binding box is made from waste from their manufacturing process. This excess plastic (called regrind) is typically chewed up and injected back into bindings, which can make them full of air bubbles (like Swiss Cheese). Creating a reusable transportation box for their bindings is not only an environmentally friendly solution, but also great for the durability of the bindings. The bindings also contain no single use plastics and come in a reusable and very fashionable cloth bag.
