Warmth Rating

Designed for high-output activity in cool conditions, offering lightweight warmth and excellent breathability—perfect as a midlayer when you’re on the move, but not ideal as a standalone for cold or static conditions. Great for trail runs, ski tours, or layering under a shell.

Recycled Polyester

Polyester is a durable, lightweight, and quick-drying material used widely in Patagonia products. While it performs well and blends easily with other fibers, virgin polyester is made from petroleum, carrying a significant environmental impact. To reduce this, Patagonia primarily uses recycled polyester, which helps limit reliance on fossil fuels, cuts greenhouse gas emissions, and gives new life to existing waste.

Patagonia has been using recycled polyester since 1993 and now incorporates it into everything from fleece to boardshorts. As of Fall 2025, 98% of the polyester used (by weight) is recycled, and the brand is on track to eliminate virgin polyester entirely by the end of 2025.
