Technical Features

Directional Shape

Directional shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float in powder. A softer nose allows for a smoother roll into your carve, while a stiffer waist and tail provides better control through the turn and a stronger finish.

C2 Rocker

A hybrid camber/rocker profile with rocker between the feet and at the contact points with camber directly under foot. This allows for easier float in the powder, presses in the park and ease of entry into your turns, while providing more response and edge hold at the feet.

Progressive Sidecut

A progressive sidecut provides multiple circle radii throughout the side of the board. This design offers a balance of responsiveness and stability, allowing for both sharp turns and powerful carves.

Skill Level

The intermediate+ to advanced level rider looking for a powder oriented and carving board to take out when the conditions call for it. Slay it all.

Flex Rating

The firmer flex of the Something Gnu is great for holding edges at higher speeds and technical terrain when you need to be precise.

G-Lite 3 Core with Carbon

FSC Certified aspen wood core with paulownia and carbon stringers running down it create a lightweight board that still provides strength and pop when you need it. 

Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax Glass

A combination of Tri-Ax and Bi-Ax glass allows for flex where you want it, but stability, strength, and pop when you need it.
