Warmth Rating
Designed for high-output activity (think ski touring, alpine climbing, or fast hiking), where breathability is key and you’re generating your own heat. Insulated with 40g FullRange®, which is lighter than standard Nano-Air pieces and prioritizes air permeability over maximum warmth.Great for moving fast in cold conditions, but not meant for low-output or super-cold static use (like sitting at camp or lift-riding all day).
FullRange® Insulation
FullRange® insulation is a breathable, stretchy synthetic insulation developed by Patagonia for high-output activities in cold weather. The 40g weight version is the lightest in the lineup, offering just enough warmth while maximizing airflow, flexibility, and comfort. It’s designed to keep you warm while moving, not overheating—making it ideal for fast climbs, ski tours, or any time you’re working hard in cold conditions. In short - warm when you need it, cool when you don’t.
