Prodcut Info
The Slash Floater is your volume-forward, pow-hungry, party-on-edge snowboard built to bring a little surf to your storm days—and a whole lot of fun to the rest of the season. With a wide nose, tapered shape, and directional outline, the Floater is made to plane, pivot, and pop through deep snow, tight trees, and unexpected terrain features like it’s got a sixth sense for flow. Underfoot, it’s not just some loose noodle. The Floater runs a flat “camber" profile for proper response and edge hold when you're navigating wind-lips, side hits, or packed-out post-lunch groomers. It stays snappy, stable, and ready to react when you put the hammer down—even with its playful silhouette. Inside, the Carbonbon construction adds targeted energy and snap by placing two carbon fiber stringers directly underfoot in an X pattern. This gives the board more drive, pop, and torsional response without sacrificing that surfy, cruisey feel. It's the secret sauce that makes the Floater feel powerful when you want it and playful when you need it. The Slash Floater is for riders who want the soul of a surfboard and the guts of a charger. Pow day, chop day, spring slush or storm morning—it’s all a wave, and this board is your ride.

Directional w/ taper & Float inserts
Directional is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float in powder and a smoother roll into your carve. Taper makes for easy turning, providing the feel and focus of a directional board without anything holding you back from riding it like a twin. The Vertical also has float inserts, an extra set of inserts set way back for those super deep days.
Skill Level
The Slash Floater is ideal for the intermediate rider who is looking to get off the groomers whether to get the most out of the best pow days or to start exploring more of a freeride experience. The Floater would also be a good option for a more advanced rider you wants a more dedicated pow stick.
Flex Rating
The Floater is rated 5/10 by Slash and this will pretty true for most snowboarders. For the less initiated it might be more of a 6/10.
Flat “Camber"
This board features a flat profile between the feet for a stable, balanced ride with consistent edge control whether you're on groomers, hardpack, or side hits. Extending that flat zone slightly past the bindings provides a solid, predictable platform, while early-rise rocker in the nose and tail lifts the contact points for a catch-free, surfy feel. The result is a hybrid of zero and reverse camber that delivers effortless turns, smooth float in powder, and forgiving performance across any terrain.
Pop Woodcore w/ BI-AX fiberglass
Arranged with premium strips of poplar for a lightweight and smooth flex with added beech hardwood stringers tip to tail through the inserts for power transfer and durability. Wrapped in Bi-Ax Fiberglass that provides a smooth and predictable flex, consistent torsional flex, with enough pop edge-to-edge for more challenging terrain.
Ultimate traction
This small counter radius (bump) placed in the middle of the board’s sidecut improves edge hold without creating drag or strange edge grip. It adds extra bite on ice and turns regular turns into confident carves.
Carbonbon
Pure carbon fiber slabs placed in a cross pattern under the inserts between the base and the core to enhance responsiveness, pop, torsional stiffness and amplify foot movement.
Singular sidecut
A predictable and powerful sidecut with a single radius that makes for consistent turns. It’s ideal for intermediate and advanced riders who already know how to carve a turn, like to ride fast, and desire strong edge hold.
